Quality Engineer

The ideal candidate will be a Cantonese or Mandarin speaking, experienced Quality Engineer to support major Asia Business. Interfacing and supporting the Hong Kong warehouse, Asia sales and purchasing in China, Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan

Responsibility:

• Supporting and assessing with the quality management certifications (AS9100, ISO9001, ISO13485 and ANSI/ESD S20.20)

• Developing and lead continuous improvement Activities

• Approving the company’s release documentation (including inspection reports and FAIRs)

• Assisting and contributing to the contract review process

• To introduce, authorise & update work instructions

• Processing concessions, non-conformance reports when needed

• Conducting the timely disposition and conclusion of both internal and external non-conformances

• Maintaining the Company’s quality management system

• Preparing Management Review documentation when needed

• Facilitating NC/8D investigations to conclusion

• To collate and present KPIs data that drive behaviours towards continuous improvement

• Conducting supplier appraisals and supplier approvals when needed

• To maintain training records ensuring staff are suitably qualified and experienced to carry out their roles

• Supporting quality projects

• To always act in accordance with the terms and conditions described in the employees’ contract of employment and handbook,

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Cantonese or Mandarin verbal and written communication skills

• Strong knowledge of quality engineering in AS9100 AS9120 or ISO13485

• Proven and demonstrable ability to analyse problems, identify root causes and provide effective efficient solutions

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills including the ability to provide clear and concise technical communications to internal teams

• Experience of presenting technical data and root cause/corrective action activities

• Proven record of effectively managing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience of internal auditing

• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

• Good planning skills and the ability to prioritise multiple and competing tasks

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability develop relationships at all levels of the organisation

• Strong Computer skill working with Microsoft office

• Strong Problem-solving ability
