We are pleased to announce that Rebound Group has been featured in the ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report’ – an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK by London Stock Exchange Group.
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a global financial markets infrastructure business. The Group supports global financial stability and sustainable economic growth by enabling businesses and economies to fund innovation, manage risk, and create jobs. LSEG create this annual report as part of their support for high-growth companies, as well as to examine the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and trends that will shape the future of the British economy.
Rebound Group was one of 38 companies selected to feature in the ‘Industry Services’ category. We are very proud of this achievement after an unprecedented year of global disruption.
2020 has posed many challenges for businesses in the UK and across the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These challenges have also affected the electronics industry, with a significant impact on global supply chains and several logistical problems encountered. Rebound Group has been consistent in its proactive approach to component distribution, even more so than ever during these challenging times.
David Schwimmer, the CEO of LSEG, remarked that “SMEs account for around 60% of employment and over 50% of turnover in the UK private sector. Many of the companies featured in this report are facing new challenges due to the impact of the pandemic. So, supporting these businesses and shining a light on their stories is crucial.”
He continued, “Companies in this year’s report have together created 42,606 jobs in the two years to the end of 2019, further demonstrating the contribution SMEs can make to the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Stefan Mason, the Group Operations Director of Rebound Electronics, stated the following “It is a great honour to be recognised by the London Stock Exchange as one of the top 1000 companies to Inspire Britain. The fact that Rebound continues to thrive in today’s challenging economic environment is a testament to our investment in digital efficiency but most importantly the hard work of our employees and their pursuit of the highest levels of customer service.”
