InnoElectro: Rebound Exhibits at Hungary’s Premier Electronics Industry Showcase

Taking place in the capital, Budapest, InnoElectro 2025 stands as Hungary’s largest showcase for the electronics industry. Combining a dynamic exhibition with a forward-thinking conference, the event serves as a hub for innovation and collaboration. Whether exhibiting or visiting, it offers an excellent opportunity to network, exchange knowledge and discover new partnerships and solutions.

Held in BOK Hall Budapest from April 8th to 10th, InnoElectro was the first exhibition in Hungary that Rebound have participated in. After being established in Hungary for almost 18 years, this was an important step in strengthening our support for clients within the region and expanding our business network, whilst showcasing not only our global reach and capabilities but Rebound’s brand.

A Flagship Event

The event itself was excellently organised. Both conference stages consistently drew large, engaged audiences from across the industry, creating a steady flow of attendees to the exhibition floor. There was a buzz throughout the week, with industry trends such as the EV boom, demand for IoT solutions and Aerospace and Defence innovation driving many conversations. We were thrilled to participate in such an event.

Strong Engagement at the Rebound Booth

Our stand saw strong engagement throughout the week, with a number of attendees drawn in by our stand-out booth, to learn more about Rebound’s offerings. One of the biggest benefits of exhibiting, as opposed to on-site customer visits, is the chance to engage not only with individual contacts but entire business teams, including buyers, engineers and decision makers.

These conversations offered valuable insight into their operations and challenges, helping us gain a better understanding of how Rebound can provide tailored solutions to support clients in building more resilient, cost-effective and sustainable supply chains.

Focus on Competitiveness

Gabor Horvath, our Hungary-based Senior Consultant, noted that many of the conversations focused on maintaining competitiveness:

‘Businesses are primarily focused on whether the solutions they choose are modern, cost-effective and sustainable in the long term. They are looking for partners who can innovate, respond quickly and provide reliable delivery in terms of turnaround time and quality.’

Director of Eastern Europe, Marcin Malinowski, additionally comments:

‘It was clear that customers are shifting their focus from short-term shortage support to long-term supply chain partnerships. They’re looking for suppliers who offer stability, planning, and consistent value, not just shortage management. Quality is a key expectation, and customers want trusted partners who can guarantee high-standard components. With over 22 years in the industry, Rebound delivers long-term cost savings through PPV strategies, scheduled orders, and buffer stock. Backed by our global reach, local presence, in-house test lab, and industry-recognised certifications, we provide the quality, flexibility, and reliability our clients need to stay competitive.’

Rebound’s data-driven approach, with end-to-end solutions ensure clients have seamless access to quality components through a global network. Helping your business to navigate complex market shifts and stay ahead in a competitive market. We work to mitigate risk, and give clients the tools to future-proof their supply chains. As geopolitical tensions and supply chain vulnerability becomes the forefront of many conversations, the importance of a partner that ensures supply chain continuity is predominant. Whether through obsolescence strategies, inventory management solutions or global sourcing, Rebound ensure production keeps running.

Nuvonix by Rebound: A Future-Ready Alternative

Our Rebound Hungary team was also joined by Eddy Bollaart, European Distribution Manager of Nuvonix by Rebound, our franchised distribution division. Nuvonix offers an alternative to the traditional supply chain model, providing solutions for supply chain challenges such as obsolescence, geopolitical restrictions and price increases.

These topics were central to discussions during meetings with Eddy. Visitors were interested to learn about the globally emerging brands we partner with, offering high-quality components often higher function, lower cost, all backed by design and engineering support from our Nuvonix technical team.

Looking Ahead

InnoElectro was not only an opportunity to meet with clients face-to-face but also a chance to develop future partnerships and exchange insights with fellow exhibitors. Engaging directly with entire business teams allowed us to explore specific pain points and begin shaping tailored solutions on the spot.

Rebound remains committed to supporting the Hungarian market and beyond. We’ll continue investing in the region, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and components, and the tools businesses need to future-proof their supply chains.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand. We look forward to building on these conversations and continue to grow partnerships. If you missed us at InnoElectro, reach out to the Rebound Hungary team today.
